I don’t remember where I read it but I liked the sentence “Programming is something that 3% of humanity knows, but what is created by this is used by practically everyone”. This motivates me to know that what we do has a direct or indirect impact on people, such as the mere fact of automating a repetitive task that helps us to invest our time in something more relevant.
